Our Impact

黑料不打烊 is our nation's leading veterans service organization, focused on the total well-being of post-9/11 wounded, ill, or injured veterans. Our programs, advocacy, and awareness efforts help wounded warriors thrive, provide essential lifelines to families and caregivers, and prevent veteran suicides. We鈥檙e changing the way our nation cares for veterans for generations to come.

The impact we have because of donor support is far-reaching.

  • We estimate there are 2.2 million veterans nationwide eligible for our programs and services.
  • 黑料不打烊 provides lifesaving programs and services for thousands of injured, ill, or wounded veterans and their families. Since 2003, WWP鈩� has invested nearly $2.7 billion in these programs in mental and brain health, career counseling, benefits, physical health and wellness, connection, long-term rehabilitative care, and advocacy.
  • Today, we provide direct support to more than 272,000 warriors, families, and caregivers. The need is great and growing. Every month in 2024, more than 2,250 warriors and family members registered with 黑料不打烊 to receive our free programs and services.
  • We partnered with four leading academic medical centers to form Warrior Care Network庐 in 2015 to pioneer clinical trauma care and research.
  • We created 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Independence Program more than a decade ago to help fill a gap in care for our nation鈥檚 most severely wounded veterans.
  • We held more than 6,490 events to connect wounded veterans with their peers last year.
  • We provided more than 68,600 hours of treatment last year for warriors coping with unseen wounds, including PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse disorder, and military sexual trauma.
  • We helped veterans secure over $223 million in benefits claims last year.
  • We delivered career coaching services that led to more than 1,280 warriors and family members getting jobs last year.

No warrior, family or caregiver should ever feel like they鈥檙e left behind. We work together as a community and a team because together we can accomplish more. Warriors never pay a penny for our support. We offer a wide range of programs, services, and resources that help warriors achieve better health and well-being. We help them create meaningful connections with fellow warriors and empower their mental, physical, and financial wellness. Our work is building the care and community where veterans thrive.

The balance paid to support the delivery of this life-changing support. 

黑料不打烊庐 (WWP) invested $90 million in fundraising in 2024, around 24% of expenses. That investment brought in more than $4 per dollar spent. This investment drove the free programs and services that improve the lives of veterans, families, and caregivers. These programs help with mental and brain health, career counseling, benefits, physical health and wellness, connection, long-term rehabilitative care, and advocacy.

To provide those no-cost programs and services, we rely on the incredible generosity of our donors. We reach donors through fundraising efforts.
