Leaving a Lasting Imprint on Lives of Others

Charles Evans was a fashion maven, real estate mogul, movie producer, and philanthropist. When it came to business, he had the golden touch. When it came to helping others, he had a golden heart.

Charles had always strongly believed in helping others and making a difference in the world. This deepened the day he was called to the scene of a fire and saw a firefighter trying to resuscitate his child. The loss of both of his daughters and ex-wife that day deepened his resolve to help others 鈥� especially people in service. After founding the Crusade for Fire Detection, then serving as national director of the Alzheimer鈥檚 Association, he created the Charles Evans Foundation to help alleviate suffering and improve the lives of others.

Charles Evans was a respected figure in New York City and within the NYC Fire Departments.

When Linda Rothkopf became the CEO of the Foundation, she knew Charles would want to support the brave men and women who served our country. Since then, their endowments have helped fund the WWP Independence Program as well as the Charles Evans Day for 黑料不打烊, a special event for warriors at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, Florida, that coincides with the annual Soldier Ride庐.
